Smart classes opens at Pediatrics scientific center

Innovative classroom with interactive teaching method designed for children with cancer/hematological and rare diseases being treated at the center of Pediatrics and pediatric surgery.

The aim of the project is to provide free education in general and extracurricular activities for more than 100 patients of school and preschool patients with oncological, hematological, rare diseases (mucopolysaccharidosis, phenylketonuria, Gaucher disease, juvenile arthritis, a disease of the Pump) and other patients at the center.

In the innovative smart class there are three offices. They are a creative complex, equipped with individual art objects and modern equipment. In the innovation class children will be able to study more effectively not only general education subjects - math, history, English, but also develop creatively. Children will be given free robotics classes, fine arts and art therapy, needlework, chess and checkers, English. Also, in this class there will be therapy sessions with music and fairy tales. Class equipped with environmentally friendly furniture, desks, interactive whiteboard and tablets. As part of the project, the children will be visited by a hospital clown.


The Scientific Center of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery is a unique research and development institution, as well as the educational base of the country's leading universities. Here, the long-term experience of the physician with the innovations in medicine and science in the field of pediatrics and pediatric surgery

The center was established in 1932. The Center is a 24-hour and day-time hospital, it provides highly specialized medical care for children from all regions of Kazakhstan aged from 1 days to 18 years.
