"Almatyelektrotrans" LLP received another batch of new Zhongtong buses.

New buses begin hitting the streets of Almaty

According to numerous requests, the Park has been updated 100% on route 121. 18 planned units will run along the route, and 2 more units are in reserve. After the state registration and installation of Onai system the buses are ready for operation.

All vehicles are low-floor, high-capacity and specially designed for urban passenger transport. Buses run on compressed (compressed) natural gas (CNG), are equipped with air conditioning and video surveillance.

Capacity is 104 people, 22 seats and 3 for disabled passengers.

Earlier it was reported that new buses with free Wi-Fi were launched in Almaty.

Last summer, the mayor of the city said that at least 2100 buses are needed in the city. At that time, there were 1,600 available.
