Birtanov speaks with Uzbek, Russian Healthcare ministers about citizens evacuated from Wuhan

Kazakh Healthcare Minister Birtanov spoke over the phone with his Uzbek and Russian counterparts about the state of health of Kazakh citizens evacuated from Wuhan. They agreed to monitor the condition of Kazakhstanis evacuated from Wuhan together, Kazakh Healthcare Ministry says.

During the telephone conversation with Russian counterpart, Yelzhan Birtanov congratulated Mikhail Murashko on his appointment. He thanked both ministers for their assistance in the fight against coronavirus infection and the evacuation of our citizens from Wuhan.

The parties agreed to maintain constant communication and exchange information through the Operational Centre of the Ministry of the health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In particular, the agencies of the countries will monitor the condition of our citizens in the Russian Federation, Tyumen (three Kazakhstanis) and Tashkent (five) who are under two-week quarantine.
