8 timeviewed

Construction of an equestrian sports complex for the rehabilitation of children with special needs based on the existing racetrack has begun in the capital.

The complex will consist of an indoor arena, a grandstand, an open combat competition and warm-up fields.

The project is implemented in the framework of a public-private partnership.

Specially trained instructors will work with children, and only quiet and obedient horses will be selected for training.

Mayor of the capital Altai Kulginov noted that the base of the racetrack will be developed in three directions: hippotherapy, conducting and preparing for national and classic sports, as well as tourist routes.

In total, there are 5.5 thousand children with special needs in the capital.
