The Ministry of agriculture discussed the planned change in the rules of subsidies in the agricultural sector. The meeting was held by first Vice-Minister of agriculture of Kazakhstan Aidarbek Saparov.

He noted that the changes in the rules of subsidies are caused by the modernization of the industry and the introduction of new approaches to the development of agriculture which were approved by the Government. These changes formed the basis for alterations and additions to the state program for the development of agriculture for 2017-2021.

Following the discussion of future changes, the First Vice-Minister of agriculture asked representatives of local Executive bodies and rural entrepreneurs to voice and submit their comments to the Ministry.

Then, after reviewing the received proposals, the amended draft rules will be discussed with all industry associations of farmers at "Atameken".
