Roads in all directions from Nur-Sultan closed due to bad weather

Due to bad weather conditions, the Metropolitan Department of emergency situations informs citizens that all roads, except for the Nur-Sultan-Kabanbay Batyr direction, are closed for vehicles, the official website of the akimat reports.

The Department of emergencies recommends that residents and guests of the capital refrain from traveling outside.

On February 14, according to Kazgidromet, the weather in the capital is partly cloudy, with snow in the second half of the day. Wind South-West, South 9-14 m/s. The temperature at night is 16-18, during the day it is 6-8 degrees below zero.

Rescuers warn that it is best to wait out the snowstorm in the building. "If you are on the road, you need to move only on the highway. In case of poor visibility, it is recommended to stop at the side of the road, give an alarm with intermittent beeps, raise the hood or hang a bright cloth on the antenna and wait for help in the car. In case of an emergency, call 112" emergency services say.
