Women’s tennis rankings: Kazakh player Rybakina in TOP 20

Kazakh tennis player No1 Elena Rybakina is in 19th place of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) ranking with 2141 points.

Elena became the first Kazakhstani tennis player to enter the top 20 in the WTA ranking. Before this, Yaroslava Shvedova was ranked 25th place on October 29, 2012.

Recall that at the last tournament St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy Elena reached the final, where she lost to the Dutch athlete Kiki Bertens (1:6, 3:6). Other Kazakh athletes Yulia Putintseva rose from 34th to 32nd place, and Zarina Diyas remained in 63rd place.

Among women, Austrian athlete Ashleigh Barty, Simona Halep from Romania and Karolina Pliskova from the Czech Republic are in the lead.

And among men, Alexander Bublik rose to 55th place, Mikhail Kukushkin fell two steps and took 69th place, Dmitry Popko got 168th place.

Novak Djokovic won the first place, Rafael Nadal is ranked second and Roger Federer is in third place.
