Airport services to be improved in Kazakhstan

Aviation administration of Kazakhstan held a meeting on improving the quality of passenger service, availability of services at airports in Kazakhstan and the e-Freight project.

The event was attended by representatives of the Civil aviation Committee, heads of transport services of Kazakhstan airports, representatives of the airlines "Air Astana", "Scat", "Fly Arystan", "Qazaq Air" responsible for passenger service and "TransInfoTech" LLP.

The meeting discussed measures to improve passenger service during check-in and boarding procedures, the responsibility of carriers during flight delays and cancellations, as well as the availability of certain types of services in passenger terminals, such as a mother and child room, Luggage storage, restrooms, wireless Internet (Wi-fi), and others.

Special attention is paid to the service of low-mobility passengers, including passengers with mental disorders. They discussed the availability of wheelchairs, as well as the availability of special vehicles and mechanisms for transportation, ascent/descent on Board the aircraft.

Together with Representatives of "TransInfoTech" LLP, a number of issues were discussed on the implementation of the first project in the field of digitalization of transport in Kazakhstan, e-Freight. Implementation of the "E-freight" project makes it possible to improve the efficiency of documentation for air cargo transportation (translation of about 20 paper documents into electronic format), reduce the processing time of air cargo flows (reducing the time of cargo processing on average from 1 day to 1 hour) and increase the attractiveness of air cargo transportation and transit through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, a training session was held on working with software for airport employees involved in the cargo handling process.
