Israir Airlines to launch Tel Aviv - Almaty flight

President of Israir Airlines Uri Sirkis announced plans to start flights on the Tel Aviv-Almaty route from May 2020 at the mmeting with Kazakhstan officials. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the requirements for the aviation security of Israel imposed on Israeli airlines when performing flights to foreign countries.

In General, the establishment of direct air links with Israel will contribute to the development of Kazakhstan's tourism and transit potential, as well as cultural interaction, trade, economic and political cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working on opening a regular passenger flight between the two countries.

Israir is one of the largest airline in Israel which transported 1.5 million passengers by the end of 2019.
