Kazakh-Romanian cooperation discussed in Bucharest

Kazakh Ambassador Nurbakh Rustemov met with the former head of the Kazakhstan-Romania inter-parliamentary friendship group, now Minister of the Environment, Waters and Forests Costel Alexe, Embassy of Kazakhstan in Romania reports.

The Kazakh diplomat informed Romanian Minister about the reforms carried out by the leadership of our country, and discussed the state and prospects of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as shared with specific plans to deepen relations between Nur-Sultan and Bucharest.

Costel Alexe warmly recalled his visit to our capital in 2015, noting the scale and beauty of the city, which is rapidly developing for the benefit of its citizens. The Minister stated that the Romanian Government considers Kazakhstan as an important partner in Central Asia and assured that for its part, he will provide maximum assistance in implementing the agenda of Kazakh-Romanian cooperation.

The parties also noted the necessity to diversify the structure of trade (in 2019 - 1.82 billion US dollars) between our countries and make mutual visits in order to exchange experience in the field of environmental protection.
