Kazakh President receives Prosecutor General Gizat Nurdauletov

The head of the Supervisory authority reported to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the measures taken to ensure the observance of law and order in the country under the state of emergency, Akorda reports.

The President was informed that operational headquarters have been set up in the Prosecutor General's office and on the ground for timely legal assessment of actions and decisions.

Gizat Nurdauletov told about the measures taken by law enforcement agencies to prevent an artificial shortage of individual medical protection equipment, to counteract the spread of false and provocative information, as well as in relation to violations of the state of emergency.

The head of state drew attention to the importance of observing the rights of citizens, the interests of society and ensuring the rule of law in the conditions of temporary restrictive measures.
