Kazakhstan confirmed first two recovered patients from coronavirus

Kazakh Information and Communication Minister Dauren Abayev reported on  two patients in Kazakhstan who fully recovered from Covid-19.

First two cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Kazakhstan among those who arrived in Almaty city from Germany on March 13, 2020.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also tweeted about recovered patients in Almaty.

"Two Kazakh citizens infected with coronavirus have been cured and will be released from the hospital tomorrow. The situation with the epidemic is under control. I am sure that together we will achieve success in the fight against coronavirus. The main thing is follow the instructions of doctors" tweeted President Tokayev.

The overall number of coronavirus cases in Kazakhstan is 88 people.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11.
