On the new production line until the end of 2020, more than 1 thousand highly productive jobs will be created, which is of particular importance in the context of increasing labor flows between the services and production sectors. Currently, the plant operates in three shifts with a full load.

“The first President of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev laid the foundation for bringing bilateral relations to a new level of strategic cooperation. President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev pays special attention to strengthening and developing mutually beneficial partnership with Uzbekistan,” Mamin said.

The prime minister of Kazakhstan noted the growing relevance of the integration of production processes in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in order to reduce import dependence on goods and services from third countries.

Several new Chevrolet car models will be assembled at the new production line – Damas, Labo, Trailblazer, Malibu, Spark, etc. The final cost of the Chevrolet Damas bus and Chevrolet Labo truck will be about 3 million tenge, which increases their attractiveness for small and medium-sized businesses in trade, logistics, agricultural and other fields.

Automotive industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This year, the total volume of the automotive industry is planned to be increased to 100 thousand cars per year, the average level of localization of the industry – up to 50%, and for commercial vehicles and buses – up to 60-65%.
