Social assistance of 42.5 thousand tenge is paid in Nur-Sultan

Nur-Sultan started paying social assistance of 42.5 thousand tenge. Those who are temporarily out of work due to the state of emergency can apply for financial assistance. This is reported by the press service of the mayor of the capital.

The mayor of the capital visited the centre for employment and social protection, where applications are accepted online. Altai Kulginov instructed to promptly process incoming applications and consult residents in an accessible language.

In the capital, there are about 120 thousand employees whose activities were suspended – they were involved in services, trade, of today, the city headquarters has received about 500 applications from employers for payment from the state pension Fund to 3 thousand employees. On March 30, about 300 employees were already employed.

On behalf of Elbasy, Nur Otan will transfer 50 thousand tenge to the cards of 8 thousand low-income families. In addition, since this year, an additional measure of support has been introduced for families receiving targeted social assistance, in the form of issuing GSP for children aged 1 to 6 years and children of school age. In March, more than 2 thousand 600 families received GSP – this is 4.5 thousand children. Since the beginning of the year, the TSA has been assigned to almost 3 thousand 400 families.

During the quarantine order to exclude direct contact, if the family structure, address and income level have not changed, i.e. the applicant meets all the criteria, the TSA will be assigned without an application. Additional support measures are also provided to mothers raising children with special needs, disabled people of groups 1 and 2 of all ages, recipients of TSA – during a one-time campaign, about 10 thousand tenge will be transferred to cards in total (at the beginning of 2 MCI, in the middle of the month another 2 MCI). All measures in support of the residents will be continued in full.
