Humanitarian aid from China arrived in Almaty

Following a recent telephone conversation between Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Chinese President XI Jinping, an agreement was reached on the provision of humanitarian assistance by the Chinese side to Kazakhstan, Kazakh MFA says.

This morning, the first batch of humanitarian aid arrived at the airport in Almaty, which includes thermal imagers, a set of tests, disposable medical shoe covers, gloves, protective glasses and medical clothing.

Soon, more deliveries of medical protective equipment from China are expected.

Cargo to Almaty airport was met by representatives of SK "pharmacy", representation of the MFA in Almaty, Consulate General of the PRC.
