39.1 billion tenge allocated to combat coronavirus

39.1 billion tenge was allocated for the detection and spread of coronavirus infection, as well as the purchase of socially important food products, Ministry of Finance says.

In particular, a total of 23.4 billion tenge was allocated for anti-epidemic measures to combat coronavirus infection, including: for the purchase of personal protective equipment, disinfectants, medicines, and medical devices-20.6 billion tenge, for the purchase of thermal imagers, laboratory equipment and test systems for detecting coronavirus - 2.7 billion tenge, for the evacuation of citizens of Kazakhstan from China - 131.1 million tenge.

11.5 billion tenge were transferred to the regions for the purchase of personal protective equipment, disinfectants, medicines and medical devices: Nur-Sultan - 1.4 billion tenge, Almaty - 1.4 billion tenge, Shymkent - 605 million tenge.
