Kazakhstan eases lockdown this week

Since April 20, the quarantine regime has been relaxed in Nur-Sultan and Almaty.

Activity of industrial enterprises has been resumed, including the construction industry and some types of services have already started their activities.

"Depending on the epidemiological situation, we will continue to gradually ease the quarantine regime, allowing other enterprises and business entities to work. The same work will be carried out in other regions of the republic. However, this is only possible with strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological safety," Kazakhstan Prime Minister Askar Mamin says.
