New hospital in Kazakhstan built in 13 days

The construction of the new infectious diseases hospital took only 12.5 days, Healthcare ministry says.

The infectious diseases hospital is designed for 200 patients, with a total area of 7 thousand square meters. It costed 5 billion tenge. Up to 1000 people worked on the project around the clock.

The peculiarity of the new hospital is that it was designed in collaboration with infectious diseases doctors and according to WHO recommendations.
Currently, the hospital is undergoing commissioning and cleaning of premises. The first patients will be here next week.
