President Tokayev gives interview to "Egemen Qazaqstan"

Today national newspaper "Egemen Qazaqstan" published interview with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

President of the newspaper Darhan Kydyrali interviewed the Head of state on current affairs amid global pandemic. This is his second interview in "Egemen Qazaqstan" since his presidency.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev talks about the economic and social situation in the country, difficulties that we face today and how the Kazakh Government is dealing with current challenges caused by coronavirus outbreak.

He also shared his views on how the world and Kazakhstan are adapting in this situation. The education system was one of the most struggled fields with distance and online learning. He thanked teachers for their hard work.

President also talks about the celebration of anniversaries of Kazakh great minds. This year Kazakhstan celebrates 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi and 175th anniversary of Abai.

He highlights the importance of fighting together against COVID-19 with united forces of all countries all over the world.

During the interview, K.Tokayev shortly summarises his presidency, projects implemented in over 1 year in his role as the leader of Kazakhstan.

Next year Kazakhstan marks the 30th anniversary of its independence. He shares views on how he sees Kazakhstan in the future.

President Tokayev believes that these difficulties will only make us stronger. He concluded that human life, human relations, the health of citizens, the unity of society are the most important things in our life.
