The list of historical mausoleums of Kazakhstan includes well-known constructions of Khodja Ahmed Yasawi, Zhoshy Khan, Karakhan and Aisha-Bibi. Visitors will be able to virtually get acquainted with the unique places of Kazakhstan using the latest technologies.
"We will be able to demonstrate digitized objects to the whole world. People from any place in the world can see not just a 3D image, but feel the real effect of presence," Raimkulova said.
According to the vice minister, in Kazakhstan the mausoleums of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and Karakhan were digitized in 3D for the first time.
"An interactive virtual map for sacral objects of national and local significance was created with detailed descriptions and 3D tours," the Vice Minister Raimkulova emphasized.
In addition, work is underway to digitize the library fund data and historical documents, where one of the novelties of the project will be the unification of all databases of Kazakh libraries. It is planned that all digitized data will be available on the E-culture portal.
In order to popularize the sacred objects, the department created visiting centers. For today they are prepared in historical and cultural museums-reserves “Ulytau”, “Otrar" and "Tanbaly."
According to the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the creation of such museums-reserves will allow preserving unique cultural monuments, will make it possible to increase competitiveness in attracting tourists, provide the necessary conditions for scientific, conservation, archaeological and educational programs.
It should be noted that digitalization of the sphere of culture takes place within the framework of the state program Digital Kazakhstan, which was approved by the Head of State in December 2017. Successful implementation of the state program will allow Kazakhstan to become one of the 30 most competitive countries in the world by 2050.
