The Head of State in the Address "New Opportunities under the Fourth Industrial Revolution" set the task for the agro-industrial complex to increase labor productivity and export of processed agricultural products at least 2.5 times within five years.
To date, the South-Kazakhstan region accounts for 80% of all greenhouses in the country. In 2017, 201.7 hectares of new greenhouses were introduced in the region, including 72 hectares in Saryagash district. In addition, this year it is planned to commission new greenhouse complexes with a total area of 214 hectares.
During the inspection of enterprises in Saryagash district, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev was informed about the measures taken to fulfill the President's instructions.
Director of KelesPlast LLP, N. Umarov, familiarized the Prime Minister with the production process and presented a range of products — polyethylene films and yarns made from raw materials with using the latest processing technologies. According to him, raw materials are purchased from economic entities, and finished products are used in various fields of agriculture and covers 100% of the needs of the domestic market. In addition, recycling of waste and polyethylene has a positive impact on the ecology of the district.
Recall, KelesPlast LLP was put into operation in February 2018. The main activities are the processing and production of polyethylene films for greenhouse farms, manufacturing of metal clamps for greenhouses and plastic cups for seedling material, production of polyethylene knitting twine.
