Last week, negotiations were held in France, which resulted in the signing of a tripartite agreement between Kazakh Invest, the French company ECM Technologies and the Chinese CEEC-NWPC International on the creation of a joint venture. The agreement envisages not only the production of a full cycle of solar cells, but also the construction of "turnkey" stations. There already first orders planned in Russia (300 MW) and the countries of Central Asia. At the same time, with the assistance of Kazakh Invest, Chinese companies are launching high-tech production in Kazakhstan.
Chairman of the Kazakh Invest Board Saparbek Tuyakbaev said that 15 projects, mainly innovative productions, were signed within the Business Council.
So, an agreement on the production of lubricants of high class, gasoline, diesel, mineral fuel and liquefied hydrocarbon gases was signed together with the Vice President of CITIC Construction Co. The agreements with Hebei Hua Tong Cable are aimed at a project for the production of cable products in the Karaganda region. With Farma Beychzhun-Ilin — an agreement on cooperation to create a center for Chinese medicine and cultivation of medicinal herbs, etc.
In addition, documents were signed on the development of a biochemical cluster in Kazakhstan between KazAzot, Cathay Industrial Biotech and CITIC Construction Co .; road map for the further development of the automobile cluster between Group of Companies Allure JSC, the Chinese company SMS and Baiterek holding; a memorandum on the organization of assembly production of tractors between Agromashholding KZ and YTO, as well as an agreement on cooperation in renewable energy projects between Kazakh Invest, French ECM Technologies and the Chinese company CEEC-NWPC International.
It should be noted that investments for the planned construction of solar stations in Kazakhstan for $300 million will be attracted with the participation of NPWC and Chinese financial institutions.
It should be recalled that in Beijing, 40 economic documents for a total of about $13 billion were signed, of which 15 — with the assistance of Kazakh Invest. According to these agreements, the launch of new high-tech production in the field of engineering, biotechnology, etc. is planned on the territory of Kazakhstan.
