The Head of State signs a number of laws

June 13 the President of Kazakhstan signed a number of laws. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

The Head of State signed the law "On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on the Status of the CIS Economic Court of July 6, 1992."

The President also signed the law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Activities of Non-Profit Organizations" aimed at improving the mechanism for granting state social contracts, grants and awards.

In addition, Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law "On Ratification of the Loan Agreement (Secondary Education Modernization Project) between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development."

The Head of State signed the law "On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Mutual Preservation of Classified Information within the Collective Security Treaty Organization of June 18, 2014."

The texts of the laws are published in the press.

Also, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the National Day of Dombra was issued. The text of the decree says:

"In order to consolidate the society around the idea of preserving and reviving the national culture and identity further, I decree:

  1. To hold the National Dombra Day on the first Sunday of July.
  2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take measures to implement this Decree.
  3. Control over the implementation of this Decree shall be assigned to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
  4. This Decree is put into effect from the day of its publication."
