13 artists from Brazil, India, Korea, Great Britain, Japan, Holland, USA, Russia, Belarus, Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, famous domestic masters of the art take part in it.
They have already managed to create their first masterpieces. Their paintings depict the embankment of Astana, cosy streets of the right bank, cultural and historical sights, and harmonious architectural ensembles of the left bank and the moments of life of local residents.
Famous foreign and domestic masters of fine arts provide master classes in the Palace of Schoolchildren and at the Kazakh National University of Arts. Schoolchildren, students and their teachers can take part in them.
A member of the Royal British Art Society, Alexander Connor, and a famous Japanese art-fashion illustrator Akira Murata shared their impressions at the press conference.
"Astana inspires. The hospitable people and the beautiful high-rise buildings of your capital pleasantly surprised me. Once upon a time, the Great Silk Road passed through your land. The history of the Silk Road has a deep connection with Japan. I am proud to have visited the great country as a Japanese artist and I am happy to be a part of the big holiday," the Japanese artist said.
The opening ceremony of the festival to hold on June 12 at the National Museum.
