According to the official web-site of the program, the deadline was extended until October 16. Meirzhan Alpysbai, vice-president of JSC Center for International Programs (CIP), the coordinator of the program, stated this at a press conference in the Central Communications Service.

“Bolashak” is International Scholarship established by Nursultan Nazarbayev in 1993. The main idea of the program is to give the opportunity to the talented youth of Kazakhstan to study in world’s most prestigious universities so that they could use their knowledge to develop Kazakhstan.

The application period started on May 29 and was supposed to be closed on September 15. However, due to boom in applying to the end of deadline and deficiency in the number of candidates, the CIP had to prolong the deadline.
