A new terminal for international flights to open at Almaty airport

Akim of Almaty Bakytzhan Sagintayev spoke about the development of Almaty international airport.

"The old terminal will remain. It will be for domestic destinations. A new terminal for international destinations will be built nearby. They will be connected to each other," Bakytzhan Sagintayev said.

As previously reported, during Almaty Invest Forum Deputy akim of Almaty Saparbek Tuyakbayev signed a Memorandum with international companies "TAV Airports Holding" and "VPE Capital".

The total amount of agreements between the parties is 700 million dollars, it is more than 270 billion tenge, which will be spent on the development of the airport.
